This fight certainly tested every aspect of this guild. We lost tanks, we lost legendaries....again, and we nearly lost our minds. In fact I keep a toaster plugged in, primed and ready, on the ledge of my bath tub because of this encounter. As is usually the case we pulled through. This is an extremely challenging encounter regardless of where the zone buff is at. It takes all 25 people to execute perfection on an individual and team level to drop this encounter.

I thank all of you long time raiders and new joins alike who I had to send to the pine so that I could form us a comp that could win. US 27th is certainly not indicitive of our abilities as a raid team and I'm certain the challenges we faced and eventually overcame will only make us a better team in the future.

We got ourselves some fancy looking dead dragon mounts last night. I'd like to downplay this as much as possible, but in hindsight some of these achievements were actually challenging. Clearing all the wings on hardmode was decent save Sindragosa. That fight can burn in hell along with Gothik. Seriously if the goal was to design the most boring encounter in history and then wrap it into a pile of stupid mechanic after stupid mechanic; then my hats off to blizzard at a job perfectly done.

We're still recruiting a few more players while we push our hard mode Lich King kill. I could care less what you play I'm more about the attitude and skill set that you bring. If you're in it for the long haul shoot us an application.

Knocked out Earth, Wind, and Fire this evening with our downtime.  Great job to the team on the execution and thanks to Dolphin for the organization.

We got Tribute to Insanity tonight, a week after getting "Mad Skill", and two weeks after our first kill.  As I ranted about in our first kill news write-up, we had our share of struggles going into the tail end of this zone.  We're over it, we dealt with it, we recovered.  This puts us back in the US Top-35 going into Icecrown, which will lead to nothing but good things for this team.  We've got our swagger back.  

Hardmode Anub'arak - Dead.

Months behind guild is months behind?  Now here's the justification: Upon reaching hardmode Anub'arak, we lost our Ret Pally and his brother the Feral Druid, we lost our Enhance Shaman and his wife, a shadowpriest.  We lost our DPS Warrior/Off-Tank.  We lost a hunter, and her brother mage.  We lost our Frost DK/OT, and our Boomkin.  We went into the encounter with ONE ROGUE on the roster! ONE ROGUE!  We haven't raided with one rogue since... Ever. 

Perhaps further behind than we should be, but it is what it is.  GGz to the folks who put in the time to get this win in the bank for us, GGz to the people that had to sit on the sidelines so the officers could build a workable comp.  

Hardmodes coming up for ToC-25 this week, should be interesting.  Stay tuned.

Thanks to some hard work from the raid team, and some blood sweat and tears from raiding Ulduar to recruiting to fill our gaps, we got the realm first and US 21st 25-man Algalon kill Tuesday night. A big shout-out to all those who counted us down and out and set sail for greener pastures!

Good work by the WoW Team has netted us a One Light in the Darkness kill. Congratulations to everyone who completed their drake, and many thanks to the raid team members sitting outside who made the kill possible, we'll finish up your drakes shortly!

In the last month, the Drow WoW Team has been on a roll, downing hard mode after hard mode, culminating the completion of Heroic: Firefighter on Monday. We've completed a Valanyr, Loved the Smell of Saronite in the Morning, Knocked on Wood 3x, and obtained some Rusted Proto-Drakes.

We're Heartbroken and we've got wood, I think you can figure out what that means.
Many congratulations to the team on getting Steelbreaker, Freyax2, and XT-002 Hard-Mode down in the last 10 days. After a slow week or so we've managed to turn it around in fine style and get 3 new hard modes down in a little over a week with more to follow shortly.
