Enter the Abyss

Now that we have many more people in the 40+ level range, it's time to start showing our prowess in the Abyss.

After helping zerg down a Lower Abyss fort, we decided to go defend one of our upper Abyss Forts. After their 60 man force got wiped out flawlessly by our 18 man team, they decided to call in some backup.

About 200 of them. Now, this wouldn't have been a problem, as we had the advantage of DROW prowess and tactics.

We were going fine, until the Asmodians unleashed their secret weapon:

The Memory Leak.

No Elyos was left in game to defend the fort.

Here's a pic of what it looked like when the first 50 of their zerg force broke through our gate:

The Dev team is working on fixing the Memory Leak issue, and it can't come quickly enough.

With no more Abyss Fortresses left vulnerable, we decided to farm some PVE content instead, netting us our first Gold drop. Grats Codpiece on your new shoulders. Yes, they are huge. Yes, they are ridiculous. High Fantasy art is awesome, and NCSoft has some of the best artists in the industry.

Two days later, we re-entered the abyss, this time with our graphic settings completely nerfed to slow down the memory leak.

Our forces on the hill, and our zerg friends below. This is a pic from before a successful Lower Fortress Raid.

Not satisifed with a paltry Lower Abyss Fortress, we decided to go assault Krotan's Refuge.

Here's us busting down the gate:

An hour later, we're in!

The Fortress Guardian himself:

We gave him a good fight, and called in as many friends as we could muster.

Alas, when he kicked up the AEs, it turned into a painful and quick wipe.

You're still king, for now. We'll be back with more levels, and more allies.
