Your a very popular name. Knowledge is a pretty nice guy. Your in ID and that's where I want to be. I like seeing new boss's, progressing, but I don't mind wiping on boss's either. All fun in my book.

Some things aren't always what they are perceived to be I'm actually a nice guy, and very well liked from my old guild. You can ask them if you like, that's fine by me. I doubt they'd have anything bad to say, 99% of them didn't like that I left because they did like me I always help out, and have a good personality, witty. If you wanna judge me for a name on a game because I found it funny one night when I was chatting with friends, go for it, but you can't always judge a book by its cover. And that English idiom dates back to 1860.

Your name represents the guild. I changed mine from Derpbad to Aiki ingame, because I felt it was an immature name.

People have been turned away for silly names in the past. If it's just some silly name you thought was funny one night, you could try changing it. It's a little extra hoop to jump through but it could show your interest in the guild.

The trick I learned is to transfer off the shard, then create a new toon with the same name as your main. When you transfer back to the shard it will force you to change your name. Also if you don't want to wait the week you can do the transfer off.. then petition a GM saying you got drunk and transferred him off by mistake or your brother was fucking around on your account or some such. Worked for me.

I'm all about first impressions. You may be an outstanding pillar of society with many sterling recommendations, but your characters name is neither witty nor amusing to me. Show me that you can have a solid raid attendance and break 5k dps on Laethys and it will make me care less what your characters name is, but I'll still give you shit about it at the end of the day because that is how I am.
