First of all for those who dont know me.I recently transfered to doomhammer from Thrall.I have an app in to Drow, but unfortunatly for me you guys are full on hunters so im waiting around until the time comes i can get a chance to app.Anyways,i am also in burning crusade beta.I know a few Drow members are also there.Hopefully the info i give will take away some of the question spam from them.
Warning anything beyond this point is a possable spoiler
Leveling 60-67
Honestly i didnt find it very hard at all. With the ammount of quest given and the difficulty of the mobs in outlands,it really shouldnt take a dedicated player more then 2 weeks.Im not sure if any of the AQ insignias work for experience, because the gates arent open on the beta server.Although you probably would still be better off focusing on outlands content.
Hellfire Peninsula 60-63(first zone in outlands):I would almost avoid this zone at release actually.Because im sure everyone and their brother is gonna be there killing anything that moves.Though it is a decent zone, alot of quest.Mobs arent very hard at all.Honor Hold is the main alliance town, its where you land after flying from the dark portal. There Enchanter Trainer is in the mage tower, there is an Alpha Gem Merchant(sockets) in the inn, also a skinning trainer. Not far from Honor Hold in the center of the zone is Hellfire Citidal which has mutliple instances i will discuss later on.
Zangramash 60-65(connected to Hellfire Peninsula):This zone is pretty unique,it is also the one i would recommend on release. As soon as you enter it from Hellfire you will come to a Cenarion Camp, unfortunatly its a different faction then Cenarion Circle.Though they do have some nice rewards, for hunters this faction is a must due to the increased damage arrows.Faction from what ive seen so far is not really hard to gain with them. The best way is to far Plant Parts which drop off nearly everything from the zone. Also not far from the Cenarion Camp is an alliance faction village.A few quest are available at 60,most are around 62ish though. In somewhat of the center of the zone is also another instance which i belive has 4,1 being a raid instance.I could be wrong though since it isnt open. You do have to swim through a drain in the lake to get to it.no enduring breath item/potion is needed,Air comes from the pipes so you can make it easily.
Terrokar Forest 62+(connected to Hellfire and Zangramash):This zone is ok.Some of the mobs are a pain in the ass though, being invis, and warping around(not bugged thats their ability). But all in all its not bad.Good Exp,decent quest. Also the zone where Shattrath City(main outlands city) is located.Allerian Stronghold is the main alliance village here.I personally didnt spend alot of time here. However Achrimonde is also located here which holds another 4 instances.Though they are much higher then the zone itself.
Nagrand 64+(connected to Terrokar and Zangramash):This zone in my opinion is absolutly perfect. If i had to compare to another zone.I would say it is stranglethorn vale v2.0 without the annoying shit. There is alot of beast in this zone, most are which are a yellow con which makes travel alot better. There is a beast series of quest exactly like the one in stranglethorn with some very nice rewards for the difficulty. No instances are available in this zone as of yet(that i know of). However it does have in my opinion the best world PVP to date, which i will discuss later on.The main alliance village is on Telaar which is on its own faction.Again raising faction with them is very easy, and ive found the rewards here to be some of the best. One does include a mount which is Talbuk, will post a picture once i find one. This zone is highly recommended once you are high enough, the graphics are amazing, tons of profitable quest, and just a relaxing zone.
Instances
Hellfire Ramparts 60+(located in Hellfire Citidal):This zone is actually very well done. Its short.3 bosses.Though there isnt alot of trash either. There is a decent ammount. Both not so much you wanna beat your head off the fuckin wall to stay awake. The bosses arent hard at all.First one is your basic tank and spank. He has 2 healers, but they go down quick. Its hard to determine which one is the final boss, only can be by difficulty i guess. The final room of trash basically clears to the last 2 bosses.Instead of just explaing what they do.

Is a fraps i took when the zone first came out.So its a little buggy. But you get the idea of what its like.Any questions reguarding either encounter.
Blood Furnace 60+(Located in Hellfire Citidal):This zone is a little tougher then Ramparts.Though a little bigger also. There is more trash. The trash can be a pain also.Due to the land mines they throw down(Think gnomergan revamped to 60 with orcs). The bosses arent really to tough, although decent gear is a plus here. The first boss is again a tank and spank, only he has mind control. The next event you gotta kill 4 waves of orcs, some elite, some arent.Around 4-6 per wave. After that you kill the boss, who isnt all that hard.He is basically like Grobbulus, drops a poison cloud, has to be moved. As for the final boss.Well IMO hes a pussy...

See for yourself. That video also includes 1 of many Gryphon Air Strikes which you can do in Hellfire and other zones.
World PVP
Damn near every zone in outlands has a world PVP event.Though the best one has to be Halaa located in Nagrand. Its a full blown PVP control'd village. It has a quest NPC/Rewards.Only usable if your faction controls it.The main objective is to kill the 15 guards each faction recieves when they gain control of the town. After they are dead then its just a matter of standing in the town flagged. There are a few ways to kill the guards, they have a fuck ton of health.Though probably the funnest way to kill them is to setup a gryphon at 1 of 4 post and fly over the town bombing it.The bombs also hit players and do a fair ammount of damage.Everytime you kill another player in outlands you receive a token. These tokens are what you use to purchase the reward items from each world PVP event. As far as the Arena PVP goes.. well its 2 vs 2,3 vs 3,4 vs 4,5 vs 5,its quick, its nasty, its fun.. all there is to say about it.It cures bordem for sure.
Hunter Changes and Review
I plan on trying to get as much info as i can about each class specs/changes as i can.Right now i have the most info on a hunter naturally because thats what i leveled up.From what i can tell hunters have been changed more into a solid DPS class instead of a burst damage class.
Arcane shot with my gear and at my level has a base damage of 573,it doesnt scale with armor from what i can tell it uses a resist check.Silencing Shot is good and bad,i liked the idea of having a shot i could pull caster mobs with, though it only last 3seconds,so the fuckers run 10 feet and stop to cast... on the other hand its not really a powder puff.It crits for 1200ish,and is nice in PVP.The big change for hunters though is that none of our shots share cool downs.Aimed and Arcane have their own, along with Scatter Shot and Silencing Shot.
Aimed shot however is nice a pile of shit pre-70.Its been changed to a 3.5second cast with a 9second cool down.In retail WoW being marksman spec,on a debuffed mob i crit on average from 2700-3k+ with aimed shot using the BWL xbow.In beta at level 67 with the same bow and 32dmg arrows,my average crit is 2500.So just remove it from your hotbar until 70.The level 70 one has a base damage of 1200ish.So it might be worth opening with.Steady Shot again is good and bad.It doesnt hit real hard. But its only 99mana,and has no cool down at all.It does not use your auto shot. Also its like Aimed Shot,Rapid fire does reduce the cast time.Mutli Shot, the damage pretty much stayed the same, though the mana cost has been increased.
Aspect of the Viper sucks shit,i wont go into that.Kill Command is about as usefull as Aspect of the Beast.Mongoose Bite did have its damage tripled. So its actually usefull to click it.So far the new shot rotation ive found to be a solid one is Arcane,Multi,Steady. As far as trapping in combat goes,i will be the first to admit its overpowered.Yes traps have an arming cast time, but its not that big of a deal.Other traps become so usefull.Try this on release, drop a frost trap, wait for the cool down, grab a train of mobs, and just kite them dropping frost traps when the cooldown allows you while using multi shot... Its nice to see mages wondering where all their mobs to AE went(sorry mages, cheap shot i know, but i couldnt resist).
All in all hunters arent bad, with the agility change if you want attack power you gotta go marksman.Though the other talent trees do open up damage in different ways then brute force. The increased damage on arcane shot, scatter and silence not sharing a cool down, along with trapping in combat makes us a deadly mother fucker in PVP.Also Pets have been changed, major armor increase, agro increase, and their attack speed has been normalized, all pets have a 2.0atk speed and have the same armor/health.So just choose your skin and what specials you want.
Misc Info
Netherweave bandages:3400dmg over 8seconds
Merchant Water/Food at 60 is 5400,at 65 it is 7200.
Meeting Stones outside instances can now summon party members, requires 2 people to summon.
If you want any special info on certain tradeskills please let me know,I will do the best i can to get you the information you need.I hope what i have posted here has helped people out.I will reveiw more instances/other shit on here once i can.Any questions or anything you have please ask.I will answer the best i can right away.If i dont i will cover it in my next reveiw.
