    Default The Sony Incident

Now that the Playstation Network has had service returned, I wanted to see how this has affected you. I personally only use my PS3 for Netflix, and for Blu Ray Movies, so the Playstation Network going down didn’t really bother how much I use my PS3 (I just used Netflix on my Computer, and Phone with the outage). The Outage did affect my gaming though, because I was unable to play SoE games. Now, while I don’t play the bigger games like Everquest, or Vanguard, I do play a game called Dungeon ... The make it right program was nothing more then an insult to any intelligent customer.

I have become extremely disenchanted with Sony over all of this. That said, I am not one of those who will swear off Sony products. I will however scrutinize what I spend with them far more though.

My awesome fail Sc2 stats cause I am too lazy to be dedicated.

I played DCUO everyday, pvp'd raided everything you could do in it.

The downtime pretty much killed off my entire friends list in that game.

So, yeah...im done with that for now.

But the void was replaced by this game called "NBA Playoffs," but I think that game is about to end for my Thunder too

My friends decided to fire up their EQ accounts again because of the free month, and for the same reason I loaded it up to check out the time locked server. As much as I wish I could play it though, even on a time locked server it's still got all the later updated stuff in the UI that is just not functioning so it's this strange mismatched game with bits and pieces all over the place. It's interesting going back and getting a glimpse of what it use to be like though.

I've been thinking a lot about what current MMO's lack and the little things that made the older games so memorable. But that's another topic I guess. : P
