I'm on xmas vacation and bored. Checked my email and got something about FF14. Normally, I just trash those cause I got annoyed with the game. But like I said, I'm bored. I was very interested in what I saw so I started the patch up. Got into the game 2 minutes later.

There are favored destination teleports now. This might be an old thing but it's still sweet. Every city is 3 points unless your in the region then its 2. There are also 6 more allowable favored destinations.

You get 2 free retainers now instead of just 1. Still can't add anymore that I have found, but another 100 slots is pretty sweet.

Item searching is so similar to an auction house its kinda amusing. At the entrance to the wards, still in the city, there is the ability to search for an item. It tells you how many of said item is inside the ward and the name of the retainer that has it. Pretty amusing. Eventually, I'm sure they will add in the ability to just buy it right there. Instead you have to enter that ward and find the retainer that has the item.

And here is the whipped cream with a cherry on top. They made skill point gain a fixed amount per difficulty. No more killing something and not getting any skill points at all. I guess this is only really cool to anyone who tried to solo. But I still think it's really cool.

There's a bunch of more stuff but that's what I noticed as I logged in.
