Default Gaming Censorship: Illinois-State House Bill 4023

Censorship is BAD, mk? Several states are trying to opress your consitutional right to free speech and the ability to play even mildly violent or sexual games, including MMORPGs (since 'online content may change rating')...

From IGDA (International Game Developers Association):

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich proposed legislation on December 16th,
2004, to ban the sale and rental of all violent and sexually explicit video
games to persons under the age of 18. On March 17th 2005, legislators
granted preliminary approval for the HB4023, moving it along to the senate
    for review/approval. On March 22nd, the IGDA sent a call-to-action to ~2000
members and registered users in IL, encouraging them to express their
    opposition to their senators.

If you live/work in Illinois, we encourage you to take action:

Kar...you have WAY too much free time...

guess since you control nukes...thats a good thing tho. :P

Censorship is wrong, and both sides know it. These guys are just trying to get middle class votes. It would never pan out if it was constituationally challenged. After all, what next? Books? The library Association would love that..not.

    Fahrenheit 451.
The way our country is driving towards limitations of personal freedoms and government imposed stupidity (like the VA ban on showing your undies!), the closer we get to 1984

Fuck me...I'm starting to sound like those liberal Senators I abhor...
