not really forming a team as we already have one. but i thought i'd offer any drow members a spot in my guild should they play on the same server as me =)

So, that being said. If you play on Balnazzar feel free to look me up for a guild invite. We're not raid ready yet, but we're getting closer.

well, since the last time i tried to make a char on our wow team server i got a wait list message i figured there might be others out there wanting to play with their fellow drow with the same problem =)

if thats a problem i'll happily hit the delete button

Character creation was disabled for a while before Doomhammer was retrofitted with new hardware. It has been enabled for what, 6+ months now?

also for any.... people who *might* be intersted in this, joining a guild that is JUST now getting "raid ready" just a couple of months before TBC will come out i would suggest that your time would be better suited licking the window to your nearest right a few hours each day.

no sir, the server propulation has been listed as full for doomhammer for quiet some time now, if you where to try and create a toon on that server you would get wait listed

and that is the one and only reason why i am not on that server, and why i made this post offering fellow drow members like myself who started playing wow too late to join the official server an alternative so that they can play with other drow members

this post was in no way intended as recruitment, just an option for those wishing to play with fellow drow members that cant do so because the official server is full.

well, Doomhammer isn't blocked on character creation anymore...they opened up some new servers in early October and apparently a couple weeks later, they opened Doomhammer back up.....but waiting 300-400 down in queue is not exactly a playable solution, and any new DROW members joining the server to see about joining the existing team would only add to the delays that even current members see when logging in. I am surprised that any guild can get a group together for raiding with queues like that. It must take a tremendous amount of time management for the current team to admin that.

Created a new toon there, what, two weeks ago? No waitlist, created it right away. Been playing it since.

During primetime hours there's a queue to get on, but at its worst it was a 10 minute wait. No biggie.

at 10pm central last week, I had a queue of over 30 minutes. /shrug I thought that would be off time.

I see players complain about it on the doomhammer forums as well....asking player to not transfer, etc.

I guess coming from SWG I am not used to waiting to get on servers though so any wait seems forever. :wink:

Doomhammer is Mountain Standard Time, so 10pm CST would put you dead in the heart of primetime. Thats also about an hour or two after every major guild begins their nightly raids, which means almost all guilds are on, and the stragglers have had time to get home. You probably couldn't have picked a worse time to try and login. :wink:

As far as the forums go, I see players there argue over which is better, pie or cake, so I wouldn't put much stock in their opinions unless you know the source yourself. 8)

Point is that other servers have no waits and the more players Doom gets the longer those lines get...which means even more time sitting there watching a number count down and less time playing.
