If you got into Stress Test and/or going to be in Open Beta, start a char on Test 2 server in the EST tab of your Realm selection. This is where the majority of the members will be.

As of right now we also have a guild established on the Beta Server 1, but since Stress testers/Open beta testers aren't allowed into the Beta Servers, we are forced to choose another server for these members.

VERY IMPORTANT!
There has been an argument on whether or not beta chars will be roll over to the real servers. So just to let you all know, when the game launches, DROW will be on a CST based server.

There shouldn't be any clam about people wasting time on building up a char on a different server because I'm positive Blizzard will be wiping chars before launch.

It's not extremely important that some people are on the same server during beta. What I want is, everyone that is going to be playing with DROW, to play the game and get a feel of it.

For those that haven't started their char yet, make on on Test 2. For those that have a char on another server already, don't sweat it. You'll still be on the team once it launches.

Xanics, repost your app in public recruiting for me. If you were already accepted before the webserver went down (which I believe you were, but I'll check with Ada) we'll get your access back asap. Thanks.

Ohhh my god the lag. Finally got my War to 30 and decided to try a Paladin on Test 2. Couldn't even kill and loot 5 wolves, because of the lag.

Appears to be a database issue most likely. Reminds me of Horizon's beta, they had the same problem, but in Horizon's it could take up to 90 mins for stuff to appear in your inventory :)

The past few days have been exceptions to the normally smooth playing of WoW. Last night had some horrific lag I admit, and it was unusual. But then again, this is why they're calling this a Beta. They're still workingo out the connection issues.

What I've found is if you go further away from the noobie concentrations, the lag pretty much goes away. I was experiencing little lag in Darkshire last night (thank god, because Stitches paid a visit to town....oh the horror...) and no lag whatsoever in Booty Bay.

Granted, some folks are still stuck in noobie-ville. If you'd like, I can help ya'll out in quests so as to give you a head start on the noob wave. I have a 21 (almost 22) dwarven hunter, and since I have a pet, I'm fairly well able to handle lag.

Also, I'll be happy to escort people around to other areas. For instance, Kharinos, an area comparable to Goldshire in difficulty, was actually lightly populated last night. I can help people get griffin points for the following areas: Redridge, Darkshire, Westfall, Loch Modan, and if you're feeling lucky, the something Harbor (which sends you to Kalimdor) and Booty Bay. And best of all, you get exp for finding new areas!

Why a CST server? I'd like to see Drow go EST. But thats not my decision.

So Drow is Alliance based?

CST server makes the most sense. DROW has players from all over the nation. CST is a happy medium between the east coast and west coast players.

DROW is Alliance.

Whats the difference between PvP and PvE?

Personally, I'd rather have that I can always target Horde PC's, its a lot more realistic that way. My dwarven hunter waltzing up to the gates of Undercity and mass amounts of undead PC's waving at me is just not realistic...lol. What would have been realistic was me sniping off the PC's :)

We are PvE, and will not be going PvP. PvP is an invitation to tanners, clammers, and wankers to give everyone a hard time.

The difference between PvE and PvP is very simple. With PvE, you have the choice of when to get involved in PvP combat. With PvP, you do not. I'll give an example. I was in Hilsbrad the other day happily killing naga and snapjaws down near Southshore. I finish killing a snapjaw and turn around to go sit by a tree to regain my health, and there is a party of 5 undead all doing /taunt at me. I tossed them a /laugh and went about my business. They realized I didn't want to fight, and quickly moved on. Had I been on a PvP server, I would have already been dead and cursing as I ran back to see my corpse camped by the entire party. My happy few hours farming/xp'ing would have been ruined because I had no choice when to get involved in PvP warfare.

Situations like that are reasons I log off games in disgust. I enjoy PvP, but I enjoy it when I wish to participate in it, not when some 14 year old teen-angst monster who plays 20 hours a day decides to come along and gank me and then camp my corpse for 6 hours.

I think most everyone agrees with my explanation. 8)

And why CST? Cause they give better head.

Well, East Coast girls are hip. I really dig those styles they wear. But the Central Girls, with their no-teeth mouths, they knock me out with their mobile homes...I wish they all could be Central Time Zone Ho's

EST, baby...CST sucks!
