First off, thanks to Kerenna for inviting me.

I am just investigating different PA's to join, and this one came up.

Is there a hidden forum that has all the activity? It seems pretty dead here, but DROW is pretty active on the radiant forums, so I just wanted to ask what the scoop was.

LoL, sorry, yeah, we have 2 more hidden SWG forums here that house all the 'juicy' stuff..I suppose the rest of this is pretty mundane.

Just a word of warning, though...we tend to get in heated 'discussions' about all sorts of things :lol: It's all harmless, and we try to make sure no-one gets too ruffled (although I did a couple weeks back, but I've settled down!)

Last week was more politics and a multi-day long discussion of the evilness of the merchant nerfs...

oh yeah, and pretty much not a day goes by without a lengthy discussion of sex and wine. I SWEAR I never start it!! :wink:

Well, I must say, while not a fan so much of the layout of the site (the redirects and everything), the community seems to be active. That's a good thing.

Consider yourselves to have made my final cut list; the first ones actually.

I probably will look for a couple more days, but I want to spend some time hanging out with you guys - get to know your city and see the activity. I just want to be sure there will be people on to hang with when I log in.

negative on the few weeks, more like few months

4 phases to village
3 weeks per phase(rumor based on what justG posted)

with a max of 4 trees you can learn per phase, but most likely 1 or 2 at tops that you WANT to learn per phase

you need 24 skill boces to get to jedi initiate

and you cant get jedi XP, you have to grind reg XP and turn that into jedi XP
pistole/unaremd whatever converts 30:1 reg:jedi
combat 3:1

and its like any elite proff for XP needed
50k novice 175k 250k 350k 450k

if you see a jedi out in a couple weeks off the new system, i will put all my money on him having duped the system :P

The initial look at the system made it seem that folks would be able to do the new FS quests in a short period of time.

It will still take very little gameplay time, but will be gated in the village 'phases' (which now I think will be as long as the Bestine Mayoral timeline).

Either way, it's still in testing...who knows what they'll do before pushing it live? Make a FS Ranking System? So instead of Knights running around ganking each other, we'll have jedi-wannbes? :lol:

people gunna afk on meatlumps at 1 XP a pop to make jedi?


you cant make jedi XP dirrectly

2 of the 4 skill trees only can get XP from combat related XP as in unarmed, pistols ect and combat XP

the other 2 are crafting XP and then basically your left over XP, slicing and such

i gotta see afk slicing... >=P

Combat is easy to get...
the 'other' XP can be done via dancing or playing! Ultra AFK.

Besides, the grind on these is NOTHING compared to how bad it used to be, so quit yer bitchin! :lol:
