Just got my license before I went down to TN to give Stray some lovin, came back and I've already put 200 miles on it since Monday, it is now Wednesday. And I'm just riding around the city doing "errands" and some joy riding.

Soooo I think I may need some intervention.

most definatly. Even though I'm tempted to get a brain bucket, I can't deny the protective edge the full face offers me.

dont know if you have rolled around in traffic without your full facemask helmet on. but my advice is always ware the full... cars are always dripping something and it sucks when it gets on your face :(

I'm glad I had my full face, I drove from Detroit to Lansing and back, about 90ish miles, I hit so many bugs on my face shield, they may start calling me Hitler.

93 Honda NightHawk 250. Bought it brand new, but haven't been able to ride it for 2 years due to car accident. (was driving neice's car, not bike fortunately.) I have a full face, but it has 2 release buttons that allow the entire face to open up. Really nice helmet, and only paid $350 for it 4 years ago.

aww only a 250? how do you get up and go? I think we got to train on 150's, those things can go 30 in first, it's crazy.

What kind of accident left you without the ability to ride for 2 years now?

2005 Suzuki 650 RS - not a super bike but has the look of one. First bike, so scared to get a super bike just yet. Definately wear a full face with it, Shoei helm. Love it :)

I almost got a Shoei, but didn't have the cash so I got an HJC. My buddy's got an Honda CBR 600 F3, that thing is scary, but so fun, everytime I get off it, I'm shaking.

Yeah. The super-like bikes as I call them can have that affect on you....but you get used to it. Unfortunately, I live in the part of the country where every year it's on the news for some of the deadliest intersections in the world.

Curlew Road and US 19, US 19 and Tampa Road, and US 19 and Alderman Road are always on the top 10, and always on my way to work. Woo! Stupid snow birds...

I almost traided in the 250 for a 750, but it was too tall for my short legs. It's a good ride though, rode it from Salt Lake down to Zions NP in '94 and Moab in '95, up to Logan/Bear Lake in '98. '01, '03. It had been my main form of transportatiom up until the accident.

Got rear-ended by a 2 1/2 ton truck, my sis and I were in her daughters Mazda Protege. We were stopped at a red light and he hit us at about 35 mph, and shoved us under the truck in front of us. I saw him coming and tensed before impact. Have muscle spasm's in my upper back that have prevented me from riding.

ouch I'm sorry to hear, is that something that can be rectified over time, or maybe with some pills?

Also they can lower your bike to accomodate your height. A guy I was talking to in one of the classes I took did up to 3-4 inches I think it was.

I used to have an 82 Honda CB650. I got rid of it when I realized I enjoyed drinking and driving too much. (back in my younger and wilder days.)

Having a bike was fun, but not compatible with my lifestyle at the time. Was considering looking into getting one again to play with. Possibly a Ural and customize the shit out of it.
