I pretty much die instantly over and over and over when I play nuketown. What gun are you using in that one?

Think the gun is the AK-74u. Nuketown is retarded unless your playing Domination or Demolition, otherwise its just getting spawned on by the other team. Some dude posted his video from a Domination round, went like 132-7 or something retarded after getting a few choppers.

Pretty much just shows the mentality of 90% of the individuals playing this game that they're retarded. Pretty sure it was probably the same and only guy trying to shoot you down with a launcher. If you don't have a class with a Strela(sp) or the beginning launcher setup, you're not being smrt.

I'm using the AK-47 and a Makarov. I die lots on this map as well, just got lucky enough to be able to carve a path into enemy territory without dying so much this game.

For Nuketown I try to be as active as possible as random nades seem to get me a lot if I stand still for more then 5 seconds, avoid staying too long at the sides of the houses, and when I get a few kills outside I move inside the enemy house to clean up snipers and campers to try to finish off my KS rewards.

I play nuketown, hardcore, demo or dom matches (Best xp by far when you get your killstreaks working)

I use the Ak-47u, with rapid fire and steady aim. I don't even bother aiming don't the sight on hardcore maps, especially on nuketown (everything is so close) I also run flak jacket to avoid all the claymores/nade spamming that is nuketown.

I'll run spyplane, choppa, and choppa gunna. If you get the choppa gunna its easy to get massive amount of kills. I've been booted from several matches because people thought i was hackin because i had over 100 kills.

Max kills is 129 but I didn't even get to finish that match, i got booted from the server right at the end of my choppa gunna with a minute or two to go in the round.

It's all about rushing as much as you can and trying to get into the other house. Maybe 1 in 4 attempts to cross the middle will get you there alive but once you get in the other sides house you can get alot of kills.

So after watching my second montage a few times I feel it didn't really improve my editing skills from the last montage I did and it did not keep with the theme of the song.

I went back and re-edited and tried some new techniques, also started to render in 1080p so it will look like sex in full screen mode.

Nate, after finding out Daft Punk did the Tron soundtrack I really wanted to use one of their songs for a video. I originally was going to use Derezzed but had an impulse to go old school.

Zukan, I wish I had some sniper clips. You have a lot more freedom with editing when you have a bunch of 1 shot kills to put to the beat of the song. The effects are amazing in Sony Vegas. You can really make the effects work for you and create unique looking ones by reading up on how to manipulate keyframes along with effects. Another great technique is layering video clips, if you have ever used AutoCAD or Photoshop then you will be at home with this.

The main ones I use are

/com_maxfps 125
/cl_maxpackets 100
/snaps 30
/sv_maxrate 2500 or 25,000 (whichever is the highest the console will let you go)

Additional tweaks can be made according to your system to maximize performance. A command list and explanation of further commands can be found here. You only have to enter these commands once and it will apply for every game unless you /uninstall, then of course you gotta type them in again. Happy Hunting!

oh hell ya i still play the old school games for nostalgia. I STILL have a copy of the 1st Killer Instinct in my house. And my char in rift will be named Chief which i took from Chief Thunder in KI. When we are able to add last names his name will be Chief Thunder =) Ive been playing games since i was very young.
