i was just killing some time on my vacation before the ball & chain got out of bed, and i see the message that je'cy has logged on. i started talking to him, and he said that he plays coh and sees some former drow swg players in there.
i won't mention names, but he said they told him that everyone left me all their credits and items when they left swg. did i not get the mail when you guys left me all this stuff? please, let me know.
when micco left and anika came back for a short time, he took all of micco's resources & crafting items and moved them to tatooine. i've used a few of the resources since then, but just to make starship parts for myself.
i did grab a handfull of unique reward / loot items from micco and anika's houses, but only to put on display in a museum. other than these things, i don't recall getting any handouts from people.
i did, however, have more than one former drow swg player - again, i won't mention their names - offer to SELL me their credits for real-world money. not that i cared, because at the time the nge hit i had close to 200 mil from selling skill tapes. after selling lots of liquids for making mandalorian armor, i now have a little over 500 mil.
the only other thing that got left to me was the city and guild. i took those over to ensure that they would remain intact. ampris and ougnewire have said that they were not planning on joining another guild, so i said i would maintain the city & guild as long as any drow wanted to remain playing. i've left 4 of my 5 toons drow tagged too, just to keep the numbers up as much as i can.
i guess i'm just a little bent out of shape because i have put nearly three years of time and effort into this game and over two years into drow and kintan. now hearing that people are telling others i was given everything and that it was all handed to me sure is a slap in the face. i stuck through the curb and the nge, and i still enjoy the game. there is still more that i want to do.
