I'm hoping DROW will be able to put forth a team for this game, because I feel like it will have staying power. The 45 day campaign is a hex map style land grab, each alliance fighting to gain territory, construct facilities, produce/steal resources, construct/protect an alliance complex, and destroy a rival complex, and ultimately gaining world dominance; It's something I thought would go nicely with the DROW mission statement and all, you know flex some gamer muscle and what not.

List of Features:

Jetpacks!
4 unique classes (Assault, Medic, Robotics, and Recon)
PvE missions with boss fights
PvP missions with different objective types (CTF, Capture the Objective, Push the Objective, 3 Objective capture, etc.)
Alliance vs. Alliance PvP raids (45 day campaign)
Character Customization and armor/weapon dyes
Leveling, Skill trees and Achievements
In-Game Voice Chat
Thirty+ different major weapons/devices for each class
Blueprints and Crafting
Economy and Auction system
On going updates of new content including new generations of gear/weapons each season.


Global Agenda is not an open world type game, it's setup similarly to Guild Wars in that there are cities or agency head quarters where you hang out and you zone into instances and fight.

Global Agenda does not require crazy twitch shooting skills as it has no insta-deaths like head shots or one-hit melee attacks.

Personally, I typically get tired of shooter games very quickly as well as PvP in your usual sword and magic MMO. However, I've been testing for HiRez Studios for several months now, and I have to say the combat is actually so fun and engaging that I'm still here, and still excited for more.


I'm not really looking for lead the team, I just want to know if there will be a team. How many people are interested in this game? Bare minimum we'd need at least 60 people to hold our on in a base raid, but probably more if we wanted to push for global dominance. :)

The game is not far enough along, nor do we have near enough members involved in beta for Core to consider sponsoring a DROW team. That being said, you know I'm in brother!

Hopefully as beta progresses we can get more existing DROW members invited and they can experience the fun first hand. I didn't make it to alpha so I missed the whole Agency vs Agency aspect, but that is coming up soon enough in Beta. What I can tell about this game (without breaking the NDA) is that a team with solid strategies and effective execution of those strategies will dominate over twitch gamers. It's all about teamwork, teamwork, teamwork... and a DROW team would be a force to reckon with. Once beta is further along, and we are closer to release, and if there is enough interest in a team, I will definitely bring it to the rest of Core's attention for sponsorship.

Next testing phase we will be testing out the Agency va. Agency (AvA), I believe. No doubt there will be more invitations sent out in preperation for this.

They are using a very strict testing model. Testing specific features during each phase. So far servers have only been up on 2 different weekends. This weekend will be the 3rd weekend. Hopefully in the near future, as they start testing larger scale features, the servers will be available more often!! See you all this weekend.

Yes, the reason is they want to make sure they have the people on to make sure the things they need tested. What was happening before when they just left the server on all the time was the player population was too low on average to get decent data.

They may change it later on though with more players in the beta.

That is correct! So make sure you have all the patches up to date and shit. Load the game up to the login screen and make sure everything is alright. I know one of our guys is having a problem getting the game to load up.

I know how to escape 95% of encounters and live. Depending how much health I got left. We will need more people to join us at least for Beta or get some more Beta recruits in order to perform well in AvA.

I will stick around with Robodarg and Medarg for now. I tried very briefly the Recon and Assault class and didnt find them too appealing for my gaming style.

Overall, it was a good experience. Though there wasnt much to do around except fight, I also know that it is in Beta phase and things are being tested and limited for now.

I would like crafting to be a way to get credits and improve yourself as well and necessary to get the good stuff in the future as well. I enjoyed though very much the PvE mainly because you can just make a team and join a map; no need to travel or look for the right class and levels and they were challenging sometimes ... or they need to be re-check again for balancing :)

Good game and will keep a track on it and will try it for sure when it comes out.

I enjoyed the PvE as well. What I like the most was how easy is to get a team going. Now how successful that pug team could be is up to the people but then again, we can always form with the people we know already.

I do wish though for some solo content. Anarchy Online has "missions" which are instanced as well and you can solo them with any class. Missions can be customized depending on what you looking for; Xp, items, kills and such.
