Hmmmm that was interesting. I think something to look at there too though is that it is directed at pvp which I find kinda funny. Also found it a bit ironic after last night. Went into rwz to get the pilbox badge and ran into some villy's who were more than nice on the side of we wont kill you so you can nab the badge they actually helped me get it after whooping some other hero but. (later found out they were all on a team and one of the members used to be in DROW, Ms. Influence?) but i realize that is rare and that its pvp you don't want to be killed don't pvp:p

I think this kind of behaviour from the CoX community is a bit odd. Does anyone know what server he played on? Generally it's hard to get the kind of abuse this professor reported on.

sounds like he was just ganking peeps and pissin 'em off enough to get threats....YEARS AGO by the way. this wasn't done overnight. his paper was published just last year, so he was pvp'ing when it was a lot different. since all the pvp nerfs AND ma it's not taken so seriously, from what i can tell. ya know?

and yea, i agree with ya'll, i wanna know what server too. i downloaded his 26 page paper he wrote. someday i'll give it a read and see. anyone read it? is it worth my time?

Twixt was on Freedom and yeah this came out a LONG time ago.

He was basically the same thing as Giggles on our server (I think you know him Mistress). He did some stuff stupid people thought were "cheap". A few idiots got pissed off by it but most just laughed and did kept on their merry way. Twixt's paper really embellishes how much people cared about him.

I have been loving life! Going to my parents' houseboat on the lake, going to the pool with friends... the Cherokee Indian Casino in Tulsa just recently got the rights for HARD ROCK CAFE. So fourth of July weekend was the Grand opening and it's so much fun there. the decor is just like the Vegas casino. got my friend hooked on xbox360s LIPS and we've been singing every week almost!!

i just got burnt out on all the drama and bitching ingame and was getting my usual yearly boredom with CoX and NO ONE is ever in game when I'm on in the early evenings, so I started watching a ton of movies (I've got Stripes burned off Brass, haven't watched it yet lol) and playing video games.... i am on the fence about coming back full force. no one i like ever plays my hours and even then there's never enough to do anything. i guess i'm missing the days of 8 to 10 DROW's (inc'l Meg, Zap etc) on to do anything, ya know? i miss nate and wili and szen and Fiya and dare i say Cys? it's just not CoX without all my friends. and every year one more bites the dust. Our two accounts are paid thru next April I think, so I guess i've got plenty of time to mull it over, but I just can't get excited about anything in game. If Nive was around to PL me... well... maybe. If it wasn't for him, my 3 favorite lvl 50's wouldn't be 50.

anyway, I just get sad when I'm in game now. plus, since my promotion (got my own office, yay!) i hate computers and i hate pretending to be nice to people i'd rather cuss at... i'm in sales and deal with 125 reps across the country... it's exausting!

Thought maybe i should transfer to a new server? i've thought of different options but what it boils down to is this: It's just not fun for me anymore. It was fun every Friday night when I logged into Ventrillo to see who all was on yet. We all got along. There wasn't any hidden hard feelings. We said what we felt and that was it. We didnt have to worry about walking on eggshells around anyone.... i'll shut up now, sorry for venting :) it was a rough day.
