Best way to clean a 22 inch LCD Monitor?

I am curious as to how I should clean my monitor, I also own a mac book and I bought the cleaning package for it which included a couple different types of clothes an a iKlear solution that seems safe since it has none of the harmful chemicals that hurt LCD monitors.

I was just wondering if I can use this "macbook cleaning kit" on the LCD Monitor and if so how I should use it. If I can't then I was wondering how to just clean my LCD monitor.

Be very very careful with various "solutions". If they are just soap and water like most you are going to have some glorious effects displayed on your LCD.... computer on or not.

Never use anything with alcohol or ammonia in it, it can leave pits on the screen.
