Following this game pretty closely. Looks like the thread that Phat posted is just a rumor more than anything else.

The report had some information that basically squashed the info from the inside source.

um.... this is sort of a big deal, i think everyone should really check it out, if this is all fact, which i dont see why not, then it puts to rest some of our worries.

After the demo the BioWare folks explained that Star Wars: The Old Republic is being made with all the trimmings of an MMO. Full PvP, groups, raids, guilds, auctions, and crafting will play major parts in the game design and have players building up their resources to battle it out across the galaxy.
This game is going to be so badass...

yep... this games gonna own, plain and simple.
Think the only thing that could get me more excited about it would be if they announced guild/alliance base/city system, hopefully thats in the next big announcement.

Yea I'd love to be able to setup our own city bases like from SWG and then defend them. That would be awesome!
