I see my name on that list, it must have been from a long time ago. I had considered trying DFO a long while back, but I'm happy with Warhammer online right now.

I also got majorly turned off on DFO based on how unprofessional the company behind it seemed to be. The website was out of date and the forums had little to no information on the particulars of purchasing the game. I couldn't find a price listed anywhere either for the initial purchase or for the subscription. On their online storefront they required a credit card number before even displaying a price.

Also based on the official forums the player community seemed even less mature than WoW. Every reply to every legitimate question or concern thread was "this isn't the game for you go back to WoW."

Look at the New Jack talkin smack to a Drow member and team lead who has been around since 2007 just for voicing an opinion. Where did you drudge this d*ck blister from? I wish they made a cream for people like you. It just shows Zapron was right about the DFO community (except my friends lol).

DFO just hasn't made the changes I was hoping for over the past one and half months I've been away, and I don't foresee the game turning into what I want it to be. Hate to hear this Pan but you should wait and see what they are going to do. Before the NA launch they are suppose to have a hugh update/expansion so dont give up on them yet.

I was indeed very interested in this game and intended to play it but 2 things turned me off.

1. Last time i paid attention to the game everyone was upset about macroing / botting and how the company was not doing a thing to stop it.

2. I hate first person. Games that I have to stay in first person and the terrain spins around when I look behind me make me feel sick literally. My understanding is this game is first person all the time. While I like the idea that you cant see everywhere all the time I dont want to barf on my keyboard either.

So gl df team I will be with you on the next hardcore sandbox pvp game. Hopefully

1. They have banned a few people for any cheats that being said they have cut off anyone doing 3rd party programs like speed hacks /map hacks etc. AFK leveling different things like swimming / running and what not is just a part of the game so it seems.. though GM's do make reg. runs through cities to boot people who are AFK macroing.

2. 1st person is only for magic / archery... gives you the feeling of shooting a gun sortof... any melee is 3rd person.


Great game... we are tagging along with some other guilds that have the numbers to support a city. We can not because of our size.. its just the way the game is. Maybe when we start to recruit more out of our own network we will get the numbers but as of now people have backlashed and are focused on other objectives which is understandable.
