Faction/Guild affiliations?

So have they released any info yet on PC affiliations? Whether it be split Jedi/Sith, Free for all with group connections(Hutt, Republic, ....), or some combination there of.

I think it will be like KOTOR where it doesn't really matter if your sith or jedi or what other race you are. You meet people during your journey and you can have them join you if you want. The quests for the classes will be different so you will probably have different companions, but I don't think there will be any affiliations.

This is just my opinion though and I have no data to back it up.
