I was digging it until they mentioned Steam. Regardless it should be interesting to see how they implement it. I get a little leery of these "player generated" games what with the large amount of griefers out there. We'll just have to see :)

Not sure it'll fly. Everyone has their own ship? Nobody's crew, swabbin' the decks, hoisting the mainsail, avast, etc etc? Bah. Sounds like Earth & Beyond, which despite having a pretty cool Blade Runner-esque New Tokyo glitz to it when off-ship, past that the game had absolutely no purpose. Get in your ship. Go find things to shoot. Maybe cooperate with other ships to do it. Lather, Rinse, Repeat (tm).

Still, seeing as my birthday falls on Talk Like A Pirate Day (http://www.talklikeapirate.com/), I have to admit...the thought -does- have an appeal...;)
