"We’re allowing players from N. America to participate in the European release due to this fact. Of course we’ll make some allowances for these players if they would like to move to the US server when it launches. "
They will be doing server transfers as per Tasos.

Galthren: There are quests and boss mobs. You just have to keep looking over your shoulder. I've played Asheron's Call and Dark Age of Camelot PVP servers and found them to be a blast. I see this game as the next generation.
Couple key points to remember -
Don't rest in the open. Rest in bushes or trees. Never on roads.
Don't hang around bind stones after respawning. Typically there is an invulnerabity timer. Use that time to get distance from the bind stone as gankers will hang around hidden waiting for folks who let thier timers expire near the stone.
If you're grinding, finding a spot where gankers would have to trigger mobs to get to you or cross open ground would be best. With the DF system, cover is needed to stay hidden.
Have a buddy. Lots of gankers are looking for the lone grinder. They wait till you pull then jack you. With a buddy, unless they are particulary skilled and equiped, they will pass you by for easier pickings.
