Why kick Marros?

I know I am not in Drow, so it is none of my business, but Marros is my friend and these are some excuses I have heard for the reason he was booted:


1) Ngruk doesnt like him and has been trying to boot him for a while.

2) In Poets Palace recently he pissed off some members and "stole" some quest updates (btw, the only quest inside Poets Palace where you can steal updates is the musicbox quest, and you cant even steal the scarab updates because the scarabs inside Poets Palace do not despawn once you harvest them. They only despawn to the person who collected them, not to players who still need to harvest them, so this makes no sense)

3) Marros was leaking Drow guild secrets to Vagabonds. (This one is particularly amusing. Vagabonds doesnt need Drow secrets nor would we try to use Marros in such a way as to obtain them, whatever these secrets are that we are looking for from Drow. I personally talk to Marros frequently because he is my friend. I dont leak Vagabonds secrets to him, and he doesnt leak Drow secrets to me or anyone else. We simply like to chat because we are friends)


I would think accusations such as #3, and then booting him from the guild would require some sort of proof rather than speculation. Do you have proof what you claim is true, if that is your claim?

I dont need to know the answer because it really isnt my business, but I think whoever booted Marros should offer him an explanation.

I don't really know why internal guild business needs to be public information. :/ And I'd hope we don't see any members coming to this thread and posting anything detrimental about members, current or not.

If you feel we've made a terrible mistake in removing Marros from our guild then it's to your benefit since he can now join yours. :)

Vellek, I can assure you, 100% guarantee you, that Marros knows why he was booted. If Marros wants to use me as his excuse that's fine, I will deal with it, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Marros got booted for many many reasons, none of which makes me happy. I had my issues with him from time to time, but we got along just fine. I certainly would prefer to be in a guild that boots no one, but if you have NO standards, you have no guild.
None of what you stated was involved in reasoning behind his being booted, and I find it continually amusing that he claims to not speak about guild matters in public, yet things like the above get posted, clearly started and created by him. Listen, it's a game, I don't like to have to deal with drama, but the game makes it happen, so we deal with it. Marros told me the other night "I am in Vaga in a heartbeat if I leave here" so him being removed from DROW doesn't worry me as much as it may have, since he has a home there.
