Call me a Samsung junkie if you will but I've been enjoying mine for a while now. Great colors and never any problems at all.

I would stay away from that Acer for awhile. Apparently there is a problem with them or a batch of them. Even though everything is plugged in correctly the monitor reports "No Signal". Wait until Acer gets that sorted out.

I've used this monitor for a couple of years now, though an older model (2405 to be exact) and I've had zero problems with it.

I just bought an acer 22' and it seems to work pretty good no problems yet, and I've broken it in quite well ;-)
